LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- 17-year-old Alexis Monasterio has been laid to rest, friends' and family's suspicions about her death have not been.
The high school senior was killed in what police are investigating as a hit-and-run accident.
Police still have no suspects nor a description of a car five days after the teen's body was found in the middle of East Charleston Boulevard.
At Alexis's funeral Thursday night, her best friend, Jem Agustin, talked about her memories of the girl so many people loved, from baking to sewing costumes and making friends feel special.
Alexis' father spoke at the funeral, saying that God and the angels just could not wait to taste the cakes and cookies she was so good at making.
