LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – Teachers will get their raises, but many of them may lose their jobs.

The decision came down Wednesday morning from an arbitrator brought in to settle a contract dispute between the teachers union and the Clark County School District.

The district says it doesn't have the money to pay the raises, so some teachers will have to be laid off. But the union says the money is there.

News 3's Paul Matadeen has more on the decision.
