LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3)-- Las Vegas Deputy City Marshals arrested a suspect in connection with multiple car burglaries at the Durango Hills YMCA, located at 3521 N. Durango Drive.
Jolie Elizabeth Thomas, 36, was arrested Thursday on four felony charges including burglary, obtaining and using personal information of another person, fraudulent use of a credit card or debit card, and obtaining or possessing a credit or debit card without consent of the cardholder.
Investigators received multiple tips from the public identifying Thomas as the suspect in this case, leading to her arrest. Three burglaries occurred Aug. 7 and 8 at the YMCA parking lot.
Purses were taken in the burglaries and the victim’s credit cards were subsequently used for multiple unauthorized transactions.
Thomas was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and bail was set at $50,000. She has since been released, but will face the felony charges.
The community’s assistance in identifying Thomas resulted in investigators being able to quickly locate and arrest her.
