LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The 13-year-old boy who was bullied in a disturbing video posted on liveleak.com tells News 3 he believes the attack was racially motivated.

The two teens accused of beating up special education student Gregory Sams have been arrested.

Gregory, an eighth-grader, says he's just dealing with some bruises and pain in his right ear. His father allowed News 3 to interview Gregory on camera.

The video, uploaded online, shows a 13-year-old throwing the first punch at an apartment complex near Bonanza and 28th Street.

Gregory says it happened Wednesday. He was walking home from school when he says a schoolmate dragged him aside.

“He took me over, and I was saying what's going on, and he keeps talking and starts talking about I’m talking bad about his family, and I said, no, I didn’t, and he starts punching me in the face,” Gregory said.

Clark County School District Police say the attacker's 15-year-old brother then chased Gregory.

“The bigger dude started punching my ear while I’m on the ground,” Gregory said. “He does it until I’m on the ground and he starts doing it until he thinks I’m dead or something.”

The 15-year-old marched back to the camera, proudly throwing up gang signs. Gregory tells us his friends experienced similar situations but believes this one was racially motivated.

The attacker's mother tells News 3 she's dealing with her two boys and apologized for their actions.

School peers say what happened was disturbing and wrong. But Gregory knows he has the support of his friends. He says he's a strong kid who got back up.

The two teens in the video attacking Gregory face battery charges. The 13-year-old is suspended from school. His older brother is home-schooled.

CCSD police say they are still working to identify the two students who taped the beating.

@rickylee. Let's give a support by giving him a nice Christmas support present. @VegasSmitty: Totally inflammatory. I am sure Metro people would support a campaign for a present for this kid.

I think those 2 youngsters should be put in a Maximum security prison for 10 days in the general population that would send a strong message to them. And I do not think they will ever do that nonsense ever again.

Go after the parents. Parents hold the school, teachers and police responsible for their children when they are not in their control, but a parent is the person with the most contact, influence and contact with their children and must take full responsibility for their children's actions.

If the attacker is throwing up gang signs, I believe the charges are more then just assault. Crimes committed by gang members are hate crimes against society. Charge them with that and stop this on growing problem.
