MESQUITE, Nev. -- Mesquite Police Officers arrested two people after discovering Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia while conducting a routine traffic stop.
Mesquite Police Officers stopped a silver, 2004 Toyota Corolla which was traveling southbound on Interstate 15 early Tuesday April 2.
Officers conducted a consensual search of the vehicle using K-9 Noro and discovered Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The driver of the vehicle, Josue Tirado, 48, of Ventura, Calif. was arrested for trafficking controlled substance (Methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, use of a cell phone while driving, suspended registration, and no insurance.
The passenger, Cecilia Lopez-Guerrero, 44, of Port Hueneme, Calif. was arrested for trafficking controlled substance (Methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both Tirado and Lopez-Guerrero were taken to the Mesquite Detention Center for processing then later transported to Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas.
