California police say Las Vegas infant victim of homicide

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- Police in California are investigating the murder of an infant from Las Vegas.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office says 1-year old Aalyiah Jerkins died from blunt force head trauma on Dec. 20 in California City, which is east of Bakersfield.

Police there are investigating her death as a homicide.

No word on if any suspects have been arrested.
