LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The Nevada Attorney General says car booting is illegal.
The opinion was released by the Nevada transportation authority yesterday. Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto says car booting is considered tampering with a vehicle and even theft.
This opinion states that booting is illegal if it's not done by the government or law enforcement. If it's done on private property by a private company or person, then they're breaking the law.
