NORTH LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The community is coming together to honor the life of the cab driver killed in that horrific scene on the Strip on Thursday.
The services for Michael Boldon, 62, begin at noon today at Holy Trinity Church in North Las Vegas.
Boldon and his passenger, Sandi Sutton-Wasmund, 48, of Washington died when the cab exploded after being struck by a Maserati, driven by Kenny Cherry Jr. Cherry was killed in a shooting, and police nationwide are searching for the suspect, Ammar Harris.
Family members say it wasn't supposed to happen like this and Saying goodbye to Michael Boldon who was less than a month away from his 63rd birthday.
He had plans of retiring soon from his job as a cabbie so he could spend more time with his family, but he didn't get that chance. Family members chose not to focus on how his life was cut short, instead they celebrated the life Michael Boldon lived.
