LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) – Police say they've arrested a juvenile suspected of killing his stepfather in southeast Las Vegas.
The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim as Frank Domingo-Garcia, Jr., 40, of Las Vegas. The cause of death is still pending.
A 911 call was placed around 5:30 p.m. Monday concerning an extremely violent domestic altercation.
According to Metro, as patrol officers arrived in the vicinity of the call, they observed one of the subjects who matched the physical and clothing description of one of the involved combatants as he was walking in a nearby desert area.
After taking the juvenile suspect into custody, the officers arrived at the residence where they found a Hispanic male adult lying face down in a pool of blood.
Medical personnel transported the victim to San Martin Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The suspect, believed to be the victim’s stepson, was arrested for murder and transported to Clark County Juvenile Hall.
