Coroner identifies victim in accident at Maryland, Mequite

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Clark County coroner’s office has identified the man killed in an accident Friday night after a driver smashed his car has smashed into a light pole.

Christian Regalado, 21, of North Las Vegas died of multiple blunt force trauma due to motor vehicle collision, according to the coroner’s office.

The crash occurred Friday night on North Maryland Parkway north of East Mesquite Avenue.

The driver, Diego Rubio-Rodriguez, and passenger Heriberto Lopez-Regalado were seriously hurt in the crash.

The crash is under investigation. Witnesses told Metro investigators that the driver was participating in drag racing.
