LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- A proposal is now officially on the table to do away with the Las Vegas Township Constable’s Office.

The ordinance was introduced today during the Clark County Commission meeting.

The office has been mired in controversy, with the latest embarrassment coming last week when Constable John Bonaventura was arrested for DUI and speeding.
