County commissioners to consider new Strip vendor rules

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – Las Vegas could see the beginning of the end of everyday business for street peddlers, even though some argue they bring a unique culture to the Strip.

Clark County commissioners sounded the alarm for something to be done to improve safety on the strip. Tuesday's meeting the culmination of those efforts.

Commissioners say that no ordinance will be passed at Tuesday's initial meeting. They say there will be several meetings that follow, plenty of opportunities for public comment.
