LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Star Trek fans from across the world are beaming down to the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, where this weekend the largest Star Trek convention of the year is being held.

Many of the celebrities from the show will be attending the 13th annual convention.

However, for one Trekkie couple, the four-day convention is taking on a whole new dimension.

Mark Restucci and Amy Campbell met at the Star Trek Convention in 2012, and this year are planning a Trekkie-themed marriage.

After meeting, their love traveled at warp speed and they were soon engaged in true Trekkie fashion.

Restucci and Campbell said they're going to have a Star Trek wedding and everyone will be in costume.

The organizers of the convention are helping out to make sure their wedding is out of this world.

In lieu of floral bridal bouquets, bridesmaids will be carrying tribbles.

All the convention attendees are invited to watch the Federation nuptials Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the largest Star Trek convention in the world.

News of the wedding has spread and Trekkies are stopping by to chat with the couple about their ceremony.

Stephanie Allison and her sister Elizabeth drove here from Washington; Stephanie wants to make these Star Trek weddings a tradition.

Thousands of fans flock to this convention every year, and Friday they'll be wishing this couple long life and prosperity.
