LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- A local Latino dance troupe, the only group from Nevada invited to perform at the presidential inauguration parade, will head to D.C. after the owner of a local construction company steps up to help.
After seeing the story on News 3, XL Steel contributed $10,000 to make the trip happen for Comparza Morelense.
The president of the company says he didn't want the attention and wanted the focus on the dancers but did say he reached out because he wanted to make sure Nevada was represented in the parade.
Dancers say this is a chance of a lifetime, and they put a little more passion in a dance dedicated to the local construction company.
