LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Homicide detectives are investigating a found body this morning in a vehicle at a Walmart parking lot on Eastern and Russell.
Police have not released the man's identity or the manner in which he died, but Lisa Delmastro says it was her husband, Thomas Prata, 47.
Delmastro says her husband was a retired Army ranger and a former body builder.
She says he had emotional issues and was possibly suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
She said she accidentally found his body when she went to Walmart and happened to see his truck in the parking lot at 3:19 this morning.
Delmastro describes her husband as a loving man and says if he did kill himself, she does not believe it was on purpose.
The case remains under investigation.
