Developer, opponents on board with land swap proposal

A proposal that could stop a controversial development near Red Rock Canyon is moving forward. The deal would allow Jim Rhodes to trade his land around an old gypsum mine on top of Blue Diamond Hill for other developable land.

I agree with Chris G. From the beginning I knew Jim Rhodes wanted to trade his land. The amount it would have cost him just for the infrastructure would have been outrageous.I had hoped the board would not fall for his lawsuits, in the long run he would have lost. He used scare tactics to achieve his goal. I don't believe he ever planned to spend millions to bring water, sewer, electricity, gas, and roads before he could even build one home. with his past financial problems what bank would even lend him any money.
