Downtown barricade situation ends with man arrested

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Police were at the scene of a barricade situation that began around 3:15 p.m. at a home at 341 10th Street near Stewart near downtown Las Vegas.

The barricade ended before 5:30 p.m. when the man exited the home and was arrested.

According to Metro police, the standoff began as a hostage situation, but the woman who was held inside was able to escape the residence.

Police believe it may be a domestic dispute and the suspect may be armed.
