Driver killed on I-15 after collision with semi

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – One person is dead this morning after a collision between a car and semitractor-trailer on Interstate 15.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says the accident occurred just after 6:20 a.m. on southbound I-15 near Lamb Boulevard. The driver of a Buick sedan is the victim.

I happened past shortly after this happened. It was pretty ugly. There were two trucks on the side of the road, one a double tanker, the other a double gravel hauler. The car in question was in the ditch in the center of the highway. Ugly, ugly.

This is so sad. Somebody maybe just on their way to work or doing some mundane thing. Somebody's son or daughter, brother or sister. Maybe even mom or dad. Certainly, one of God's children. Life is so fleeting. Breaks my heart.
