LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) – The driver accused of striking a Metro officer in southeast Las Vegas is in custody, according to police.
His arrest ended a manhunt that spanned much of the evening.
Metro is investigating the incident in which a traffic officer was struck by a vehicle at approximately 5:55 p.m.
The officer was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Eastern Avenue and Windmill Lame while conducting an auto accident investigation.
The officer was transported to University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
