Dumpster diver finds body near North Nellis and Lake Mead

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- A person diving into a Dumpster found a body this afternoon in the northeast part of the valley.

A Metro officer said the body was found about 5 p.m. on North Ridge Lane a block east of North Nellis and south of East Lake Mead.

Residents in the area told News 3 that the body was that of a man and they believe he is a homeless man who is usually around the neighborhood but has not been seen for a few days.

Metro detectives were not confirming any information.
