LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- A man accused of crashing his car into a crowded restaurant's deck has agreed to plead guilty to DUI.

Last April, Gage Lindsey was arrested after police say he injured 10 people at the Egg & I restaurant on West Sahara.

Some of the victims say they've had a difficult time since the accident.

"I was scared half to death," said crash victim Alberta Guzman. "My 16-year-old grandson is still scared."

Guzman knows it's something of a miracle her family is still together.

A walker and a cane are now a necessary part of life for some family members.

"When I see my daughter, no price for the people who helped us all," Guzman said.

Guzman came to court on Wednesday ready to testify in a preliminary hearing for Lindsey.

Lindsay is accused of being under the influence of drugs when he lost control of his car and crashed into the outdoor patio of the restaurant and injured 10 people. Some of the victims were pinned under the vehicle.

“I grabbed my nephew,” Guzman said. “My nephew was totally underneath the car.”

Instead of testifying, the Guzman's received unexpected news.

Lindsey told the court he'll plead guilty to two counts of DUI causing substantial bodily harm to crash victim Mike Glenn.

“I really want to get it past me,” Glenn said.

Recovery has been slow; Glenn spent more than a month in the hospital.

Memories of the accident are still fresh for Guzman, and she hopes eventually to have her say in court and to tell Lindsey, who was just 18-years-old at the time of the accident, what her family has been through.

“I'm just grateful were all alive,” Guzman said.

Today the restaurant is back open and as busy as ever, but with one important change: there are large boulders acting as barriers to the patio.
