LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The three-day Electric Daisy Carnival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway finally closed its gates after three days.

This event has turned into one of the largest music festivals in the country.

Event organizers Insomniac say the event was completely sold out -- and that they expected at least 345,000 people to show up. The Electric Daisy Carnival started at sunset and went to sunrise for all three days.

Even though many were disappointed on Saturday -- the show had to be shut down for safety because of high winds with 90,000 people inside the gates -- organizers were concerned about the stage set-ups and the crowds of people that could have been at risk.

To make up for it, people turned away Saturday night were invited back Sunday for free.
