LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Vandals hit a local elementary school, destroying equipment kids need to learn. Two Steve Schorr Elementary School teachers walked in to after Christmas break and found the vandalism.

Their classroom was completely trashed, profanity scribbled on the board, computers broken and desks were flipped over.

Apparently, the vandals were not interested in stealing anything. They just jumped a fence behind the school and broke into a mobile classroom and destroyed everything inside.

Clark County School District police say they're reviewing surveillence video and so far they have no motive. They say there have been 273 vandalism incidents at various schools so far this school year.

Steven G. Schorr Elementary School students have created a website to raise money to replace the items that were destroyed or stolen.
