LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- More eyewitnesses and friends are coming forward in this weekend's deadly officer-involved shooting.
News 3's Rob Munoz reports that a friend of 49-year-old Sharmel Edwards saw her get shot by police, and he says she did not have a gun on her.
According to her friend, the man who called police saying Edwards stole his car was her boyfriend of a year-and-a-half.
The friend said Edwards borrowed her boyfriend's car while he was sleeping to check up on her daughter. He added that while there was a gun inside that car, it was inside a locked case that Edwards was not able to access.
