LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- New surveillance video of an old incident could play against a suspended family court marshal.

Former Sgt. Steve Rushfield is under investigation by the FBI in several misconduct cases alleging he used excessive force.

One of those incidents happened six years ago when California businessman John Conforte was cuffed and tased following an argument with his ex-wife.

Conforte's attorney says he never resisted arrest and did not try to fight back.

He thinks this case could play a role in other abuse allegations.
