Firearms instructor shot by girl in NW Arizona, flown to Vegas

WHITE HILLS, Ariz. (KSNV -- A firearms instructor was shot by a 9-year-old girl at an open shooting range Monday morning.

Trish Carter of the Mohave County Sheriff's Department said the shooting happened about 10 a.m. at Last Stop, a business offering an open shooting range, restaurant and other attractions

The man, an unidentified 39-year-old was flown by helicopter to UMC Trauma in Las Vegas. His condition was unknown.

No other details on the shooting were available, Carter said.
