LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – Firefighters responding to a house fire this morning near Washington and Martin Luther King Boulevard discovered marijuana plants at the residence.
Firefighters arrived to the scene about 9:15 a.m. in the 1900 block of West Mesquite Avenue. When they made the discovery, they called the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to investigate.
The fire was confined to one room. The cause is believed to be from an air conditioning unit in a bedroom. Damage is estimated at $10,000.
No arrests have been made.
