LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – Five people were injured this morning after a vehicle and school bus collided on Summerlin Parkway.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, a Honda Accord heading eastbound on the Parkway crossed the median around 7:40 a.m., striking the left front of the bus just west of Anasazi Drive.
The bus driver, a bus aide and two high school students, in addition to the driver of the Honda, were transported to UMC with injuries, none believed to be serious.
The driver of the Honda Accord, Rachel Fester, talked to News 3. She says the incident happened so fast but says she was cut off by another driver, swerved her car and hit the bus.
