Four injured in three-vehicle accident on east side

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- Four people were injured Saturday morning in an accident at Flamingo Road and Nellis Boulevard.

One of the drivers was a 17-year-old believed to be driving under the influence. He later passed a field sobriety test.

Metro Lt. Mike Wallace said the accident happened at about 10:45 a.m.

"Four people were transported who claimed to have minor injuries," Metro Lt. Mike Wallace told News 3. "The driver was first thought to be driving under the influence, but the 17-year-old passed a field sobriety test. He was cited for the accident and a license violation."

Northbound Nellis was closed for several hours for the investigation.
