LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- On Monday, family and friends buried a 29-year-old NV Energy worker who died just days before what was supposed to be the happiest day of his life.
The story is from news 3's Marissa Mike who attended the funeral of Herbie Goforth who died one day from his 30th birthday.
As an NV Energy journeyman lineman, he climbed tall towers and worked with high-voltage equipment. Last Tuesday he fell nearly a hundred feet to his death. On Monday, two dozen power trucks stood as silent sentries to a colleague now lost.
