LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- A garage fire destroyed two cars and caused an estimated $60,000 in damage to a home in the north end of the valley on Sunday afternoon.

There were no injuries in the 3 p.m. fire in a two-story home in the 6000 block of Crystal Cascade Street (N. Decatur St. and W. Tropical Parkway), but two adults and two children were displaced and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Information Officer Tim Szymanski said reports are that a man was working on an electronic fuel pump on one of two cars in the garage when he heard a pop and then saw gasoline leaking. The garage and car were quickly engulfed in flames.

The fire was ruled accidental, Szymanski said.
