LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- The eyes of the world were on Las Vegas today. Governor Brian Sandoval was courting foreign diplomats this afternoon.
News 3's Mackenzie Warren was there for this history-making event.
This was the first time in Nevada’s history so many international leaders have gathered in one place.
Not only was the turnout a first-ever, but the topic was, too.
Consulates from 38 countries came together today at The Smith Center to talk about global trade. International tourism is already considered a major component of southern Nevada’s economy. Gov. Sandoval wants to expand that to international business opportunities.
