LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Each month News 3 airs a segment called "Nevada Proud" when we feature our neighbors who dedicate their time to doing good in our world.

This month we celebrate the contributions of a woman who is there day or night whenever someone has been the victim of sexual assault.

Because of people like Hannah Brook, the Executive Director of the Rape Crisis Center on CSN's West Charleston campus, there is a safe haven for people who have experienced the worst of assaults.

News 3 Anchor Reed Cowan has more on why she makes Nevada Proud.
