Health officials take action against the West Nile Virus

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Across the country, the West Nile Virus is spreading. It's already killed 26 people.

The disease is spread by mosquitos and they breed this time of year.

Here in southern Nevada, News 3's Marissa Mike discovered health officials are taking extra steps to prevent West Nile cases from popping up in our area.
