HENDERSON (KSNV -- The Henderson City Council gave the green light to move forward on proposed fee increases and cutbacks to some city programs.

Six city facilities will reduce their hours, and all of those facilities will close on Sundays.

Pool hours will be adjusted, and pool admission will go up by $1. There also will be a $10 hike in youth league fees.

The reduction in services will save the city $2 million on top of $127 million in cuts already made to the budget.

The move aims to fill a $7 million hole in the operating budget.
