If you or I kicked a man in the head as he was being held down by a few of our companions, we as well as our companions would be arrested for assault. Why are the police officers in this case being treated any differently than any other person? If I lived in Henderson I would demand that the chief of police or the politicians who are his superiors answer that question. These officers, all of them, should be awaiting trial, not cruising the streets looking to 'serve and protect' more helpless citizens.

HOW ARE ANY OF THESE PUBLIC EMPLOYEES STILL ON THE JOB ? WHO ARE THESE GANG MEMBER THUGS - - I RESPECT LAW ENFORCEMENT UP UNTIL IS SEE AND HEAR THINGS LIKE THIS AND IT IS GETTING A BIT TOO COMMON IN NEVADA. How are these officers still allowed to 'protect and serve' the public ? Maybe we should all refer to our judges and law enforcement in the same manner in which they clearly demonstrate as their M-O in dispensing justice. The notion that police are trained to see nothing but the worst - leaves them unable to properly determine medical issues - and while there is a clear indication that the frenzy and inability to properly 'interact' with a human being classifies the NHP and Henderson PD unable to realize that they are on 'camera' and that such behavior would be reviewed - it could be classified as either criminal or insanity as the officers appear 'incapable of distinguishing between right and wrong or not understanding the nature of their acts. What is more concerning - it appears their superiors and elected officials don't either - we all make mistakes, but is this how police are trained?

It seems the "STOP RESISTING" command is to convince themselves that their brutality is somehow justified. The officers who kicked the citizen in the head and broke his ribs with their knee need to be OFF THE STREET, NOW. They are a disgrace to the uniform. This is exactly the kind of incident that foments anti law-enforcement hatred. It undermines the work of the good guys, whose job is that much more difficult as a result. FIRE these guys or find them a desk.
