HENDERSON -- A commercial building fire caused an estimated $300,000 in damage in a two-alarm fire Saturday night.

The Henderson Fire Department responded to a fire near Windmill and Pecos about 11 p.m, according to Battalion Chief Scott Satterlee.

The first engine arrived to find thick black smoke throughout the business.

The Clark County Fire Department responded to a second alarm, and a coordinated interior fire attack quickly brought the fire under control.

The fire was isolated to the one business, causing major damage to the interior along with smoke and water damage to the adjacent business.

There were no occupants in the building at the time and there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
