LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3) -- Tough topics will be taught to eighth through twelfth grade students. News 3 has learned human trafficking will join difficult issues like domestic violence and suicide.
Last year, Clark County School police held a training session put on by the non-profit Bamboo Bridges. Now teachers will teach how to avoid predators and they'll look out for young victims.
“If you're a parent or a teacher and you know they dress a certain way and they're coming home with expensive jewelry, expensive devices and you say to yourself, where did they get those things and they're family can't afford that, that needs to be addressed,” said CCSD Curriculum Coordinator Shanno La Neve.
