I have been the "guest" of CCDC many times and never had any problems with officers. Why? Maybe because I listen and follow instructions. Booking is a dangerous place. Most people are drunk, high and beligerent. I am surprised how cool most of the officers are able to stay. You can see that guy continuing to run his mouth even in the chair. 15 years ago that would have been minor compared to what would have happenned. I have been assaulted much worse by street cops, they are just fortunate there isnt ten camera's on them all the time. Metro probably told this attorney to take a hike and in a last ditch effort gave it to the news station. Nice "exclusive". Hahaha. Its funny how this town is so up in arms with the amount of crime, but craps all over the police every chance they get. But love them to death when it is actually themselves getting assaulted, burglarized, raped etc. Maybe if jail was an actual deterrent to committing crimes there would be less. I know i would find an easier way to make money if I knew i was heading to a place where i would get lumped up for not listening. Oh, and i have had charges dropped before too..lol..doesn't mean I didn't do it.

"Caught on camera"? Idiots. It was filmed and released by Metro. The prisoner should have followed directions, he failed to do so. I see nothing wrong here. News sensationalism.

Hopefully, the victim is compensated significantly, and the offending officers brought down. This is just one of countless incidents in which police use excessive, brutal force. I feel that there are good coops out there and there are bad ones. I won't venture to give a percentage breakdown. I truly hope the bad ones are the minority, but sometimes I wonder. Criminals w/ a badge, they come unglued if they perceive even the slightest insult to their authority and power. They'll go to any lengths to regain their dignity and control.
