LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- The Cirque du Soleil show "Ka" returned Tuesday night at the MGM Grand.
The show had closed its doors after the June 30 death of Sarah Guillot-Guyard, one of the show’s acrobats.
Cirque dedicated Tuesday night’s show to the 31-year-old veteran acrobat and mother of two.
News 3 cameras were not allowed inside the theater, but during the dedication the announcer called Guillot-Guyard an exceptional and dedicated performer. Those few words spurred a standing ovation from the crowd.
The final battle scene is no longer a part of the show because Cirque du Soleil says OSHA is investigating it since that is the scene when Guillot-Guyard fell 90 feet to her death.
