LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – Las Vegas Fire & Rescue evacuated Marc Kahre Elementary School for a short time today after a report of an odor at the school.
Spokesman Tim Szymanski said a unit was at the scene at 7887 W. Gowan Road, between Buffalo Drive and Cimarron Road. The students were evacuated safely and returned to class a short time later.
One engine and Southwest Gas officials will look for source of a very faint odor, not a hazard, according to Szymanski.
