LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- America's Party 2013 is just less than two weeks away, and today we're learning more about plans for that night.
New Year’s Eve is one of the biggest -- if not biggest -– holiday on the Las Vegas Strip. The city had a record-breaking crowd to watch the fireworks last year, and organizers predict the record will be smashed again.
Las Vegas Boulevard shuts down and hundreds of thousands of people bombard the Strip and Fremont Street. Last year, there were 350.000 visitors over the holiday.
And it’s not New Year’s in Las Vegas without the fireworks shooting off of the casinos and resorts.
The famed group fireworks by Grucci will set off more than 80,000 pyrotechnic devices off of seven locations.
The eight-minute show will light off at the MGM Grand, then hit Aria, Caesars Palace, Planet Hollywood, Treasure Island, The Venetian and the Stratosphere.
