LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A 35-year-old Las Vegas soccer coach has been arrested after police say he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old boy on his team.
Las Vegas police say Marvin Geovanny Juarez was arrested Sunday at the park where he coaches. He's being held in the Clark County jail pending a Wednesday court appearance.
The boy told authorities two assaults happened at Juarez's home after soccer practices last week. He said the coach bought him fast food and soccer gear afterwards.
The boy's mother reported the alleged incidents to police. Authorities say Juarez acknowledged the encounters in an interview.
Juarez is in jail on suspicion of four counts of sexual assault, 11 counts of lewdness with a minor under 14, and two counts of unlawful contact with a minor.
