LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The Latino dance group Comparza Morelense has returned to Las Vegas from Washington D.C., where it participated in Monday’s inauguration parade.

The troupe was able to make the trip thanks to a generous donation from a local construction business.

Comparza Morelense was the only group from Nevada invited to perform in the parade, proudly joining its Mexican culture with state pride.

The group hopes to expand. Although there are more parades to come, dancers say this is one they'll always remember.

Comparza Morelense says its next goal is to perform in the Rose Bowl Parade. It is a non-profit organization that formed in Las Vegas two years ago. They perform at events at no cost.
