LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- A Las Vegas Mexican dance group is hoping to participate in President Obama's inaugural parade in Washington.

They received an invitation but now are focused to raise the funds to get there.
Las Vegas dance troupe Comparza Morelense is known to share its Mexican heritage best through dance.
The group has been performing for two years at various events in the valley, but nothing as big as its recent invitation to dance at the presidential inauguration parade,
The troupe is trying to raise funds quickly so it can send about 20 people to the event.
While some will be watching from home, they say it would be an honor to share their roots with the world.
