LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – The man accused of hiring a hit-man to kill his wife on his 32nd birthday was in a Las Vegas courtroom Wednesday morning.
Jorge Victorino-Vasquez faced a judge to hear formal charges against him.
Investigators say he met with an undercover officer at a local casino looking for a hit man to break into his house, beat him up, steal some valuables and then kill his wife.
According to police, he then paid the undercover officer $2,000 for the hit.
Victorino-Vasquez claims his wife cheated on him and threatened to have him deported.
