LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) – A man was injured this morning after he was thrown from a boat at Lake Mead just north of Hoover Dam.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department transferred a 911 call to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area Interagency Communication Center.
The caller, a passenger on the boat, requested assistance for another passenger who was thrown from the vessel after it experienced mechanical issues.
Emergency personnel from the National Park Service and Nevada Department of Wildlife provided medical aid on the boat and then transported the injured to land where he was flown to a local hospital, according to a news release.
