A man found deceased earlier this week on a sidewalk near Flamingo and Swenson has been identified by the Clark County coroner's office.
Marvin Lutin, 36, died of stab wounds to his chest, said a medical examiner. His death was ruled a homicide. The coroner did not have a residence listed for the Hispanic man.
Metro reported that at 9:21 p.m. Thursday, medical personnel were dispatched to 755 East Flamingo Road to aid an unresponsive male who was reported down on the sidewalk. Medical personal located a man who suffered from apparent stab wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Metro homicide detectives arrived and assumed responsibility of the investigation. As of this release, no suspects have been identified and the motive remains unknown. The killing is the 41st homicide investigated by Metro in 2014.
