LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3.com) -- A man and a women who apparently had a previous dating relationship are dead after an apparent murder-suicide Friday evening in the lobby of the Excalibur Hotel & Casino.
The woman has been identified as 30-year-old Jessica Kenney. She worked for VEGAS.com at the concierge desk at the hotel.
Metro police say they received a call about 8:30 p.m. of shots fired. Officers arrived to find a woman and man near the concierge desk suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The male was dead while the female was transported to the UMC Trauma Center were she later died.
A preliminary investigation by homicide detectives indicated that Kenney was working when she was shot multiple times by the male who then shot and killed himself.
VEGAS.com issued a news release late Friday.
"We were saddened to learn that a member of the VEGAS.com family was the victim of tonight's tragic and senseless killing at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino Las Vegas," said VEGAS.com Chief Operating Officer Bryan Allison. "Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends."

The identity of the man as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County's coroner's office.
