Marine Corps aircraft crashes near Creech Air Force Base

LAS VEGAS (KSNV MyNews3) -- The Clark County Fire Alarm Office is reporting an aircraft crash near Creech Air Force Base, located northwest of Vegas near Indian Springs.

A Press release from Creech Air Force Base says that the incident happened at 3:38 p.m. when a U.S. Marine Corps aircraft experienced a hard landing on federal land during a routine training mission.

The release says no one was injured. Base first responders are working closely with federal officials to secure the site.
